The masters rowing program at CRC is a competitive adult group ages 21 and over. There is a wide variety of experience in the group from rowers with only a few years of time in the sport to those who have been rowing for over a decade. Practices are held on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings through the season. Competition line ups are based on a combination of rowers preferences, strength and technical abilities, however all members race if they choose to. The competitions range from local races in Augusta, GA and Clemson, SC to USRowing Masters Nationals. This program allows adults to have a fun and competitive environment while building teamwork and friendships.

Columbia Rowing Club has a unique set of programs which include a recreational rowing program. This option allows adult rowers who are not interested in competing to enjoy rowing as a hobby and fitness activity. We have members from their twenties to eighties who partake in this. After completing the safety requirements, these rowers may use CRC equipment, or their own, and use the facility at any time.
